Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world’s hardest problems.
The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits have the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously!
We are at the forefront of the quantum race, competing with tech giants such as Google or IBM, and we are growing fast after securing 30 million USD of funding in 2022 to develop our unique technology.
Currently 100+ and counting, between physicists, PhD students, engineers and experienced business professionals, we are united to reach our ambitious goal. Are you a quantum pioneer? Join us on a mission to reshape the future!
Inside the Quantum Hardware department, the Nanofabrication team is in charge of producing the superconducting circuits that serve as a basis of our quantum computer. The manufacturing process involves using thin film deposition and patterning methods (evaporation, etching, lithography…) performed in a cleanroom environment. The team is in charge of developing and improving the process, and manufactures the prototype chips of the company.
As a Thin film deposition technician, you will be responsible for weekly fabrication of superconducting circuits, and more specifically of the Josephson junction evaporation step. This step will be performed on a advanced evaporation tool, that will open new possibilities of process improvement. Your role will require to master the tool (supervision, first level diagnosis and maintenance) and to execute meticulously the fabrication recipe.
The job implies frequent trips to partner technology platforms in Ile de France and work in cleanroom. If you are a tech explorer, craving to challenge yourself on the meticulous task of forging a quantum processor, come and join us!
