Employ relevant teaching strategies and foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student success. Assess student work and progress toward mastery of learning outcomes with timely feedback. Develop, assess, and improve course materials, assignments, and delivery (as necessary). At minimum, we require: Master’s degree in related field (Bachelor's may be accepted within specific disciplines) Demonstrated prior experience teaching at the college-level or training at a corporate level Preference given to: Demonstrated ability to work in a team and teach in a coordinated setting Experience with learning management systems (e.g. Canvas) Familiarity with best practices in associated pedagogies Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for under-represented groups About Mines & Golden, CO When the world looks for answers, the world looks to Mines.
