Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world’s hardest problems.
The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits have the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously!
We are at the forefront of the quantum race, competing with tech giants such as Google or IBM, and we are growing fast after securing 30 million USD of funding in 2022 to develop our unique technology.
Currently 100+ and counting, between physicists, PhD students, engineers and experienced business professionals, we are united to reach our ambitious goal. Are you a quantum pioneer? Join us on a mission to reshape the future!
Eager to dive into the world of cutting-edge quantum computing? Join Alice & Bob as our Junior Quantum Experimentalist – an unparalleled opportunity to learn from and collaborate with seasoned senior physicists while making significant contributions to our groundbreaking cat-qubit processors. This role offers a unique chance to expand your skills and knowledge in quantum mechanics, experimental techniques, and data analysis, all while working on the forefront of quantum technology innovation.
As a Junior Quantum Experimentalist at Alice & Bob, your primary responsibilities will include measuring, characterizing, and optimizing our quantum circuits and gates using state-of-the-art techniques. You'll play a pivotal role in improving our experimental setup and tools, driving advancements that enhance the performance of our cat-qubit processors. By conducting in-depth data analysis and contributing to software development, you'll help refine theoretical models and ensure our systems operate at peak efficiency. Your work will be instrumental in achieving our company's mission to develop practical, large-scale quantum computers.
