Job Summary
The Business Operations and Strategy team drives strategic and cross-functional initiatives across the company, with a focus on supporting our product-led business units to set and execute their product, business model, go-to-market, growth, and operational strategies; to develop, launch, iterate, and scale successful products; to measure progress, develop insights, and use quantitative analysis to drive effective decision-making at all levels; to develop financial models and long-term forecasts; and to advance operational excellence across all functions.
This role is an experienced analyst position. Focus areas will include business model design, market analysis (long term trends & short term GTM dynamics), & financial model building.
Core Responsibilities
- Support strategy development and drive execution; identify and solve problems; apply data-driven analytics to derive actionable insights (e.g. turning market, competitor, financial and internal performance data into actionable insights); collaborate effectively with colleagues to build a strong culture of operational excellence
- Build business models, go-to-market strategies, core narratives, and drive alignment with product & business unit strategy
- Run market and other analysis for M&A and strategic partnerships
- Conduct analyses of market dynamics, customer profiles, and competitive and regulatory environments, and map value chains for our existing and future products
- Define and clarify target customer profiles that fuel alignment among product, research, delivery, and business teams, to drive product innovation, market fit, rapid iteration, and high-scale growth
- Become a market expert and ecosystem mapper

About You
- Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent practical experience; MBA or similar preferred
- 4+ years of analyst experience in a fast-paced technology organization (e.g. a startup)
- Analytical abilities
- Experience designing and implementing business models, market models, financial models, and operational processes, including data collection and quantitative analysis
- Ability to dive into data, spot patterns, trends, and outliers, and to derive insights
- Business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex, scientific- and tech-heavy business units and market
- Strategic thinking
- Track record of identifying market revenue opportunities that have been translated to business growth.

- Startup experience in fast-scaling environment
- Experience/understanding of AI, quantum technology, or related technical fields
- Experience/understanding of a science-based or tech-heavy industry – even better if it’s biopharma, cybersecurity, aerospace, medical devices, or financial services
- Expertise leading commercialization efforts to support successful product launches and market penetration.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be $154k - $216k per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role may be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and equity.
